Disaster Response Technician

Description

Technicians respond to fire and water damage sites, performing restoration work that includes operating drying, extraction, and cleaning equipment, setting up and breaking down job sites, and conducting demolition or material removal when needed. The work requires navigating attics, crawlspaces, ladders, and confined spaces while maintaining clean, organized, and safe environments. All safety and documentation standards are strictly followed.

• Respond to fire and water damage sites to restore properties safely and professionally
• Perform hands‑on physical work in attics, crawlspaces, and tight spaces
• Lift and move materials, including items over 50 lb
• Use personal protective equipment and safety gear as required
• Set up and break down restoration job sites
• Operate drying, extraction, and cleaning equipment
• Perform demolition and material removal when required
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Communicate with supervisors and teammates
• Follow safety and documentation standards

Requirements

SERVPRO® Team Carpenter is expanding its Fire & Water Division and is seeking motivated Disaster Response Technicians. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lb or more
• Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces
• Willingness to work in wet, dirty, or damaged environments
• Pass a background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
