As a BIM Technician you will work with advanced BIM tools such as Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks and Recap to produce models that meet industry standards and support construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, integrating health and safety considerations while driving performance and innovation.

- Produce and update detailed 3D models using Revit and Plant 3D.
- Design pipe and duct routing in line with industry standards.
- Integrate specifications, installation details and supplier data into models.
- Embed health and safety requirements throughout the design process.
- Follow BIM and data‑management procedures to meet project timelines.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and share best practices.
- Work closely with engineers and attend regular project meetings.
- Leverage new digital tools to enhance performance and lower carbon impact.
- Work on high‑impact water sector projects across a major capital programme.
- Contribute to sustainable, carbon‑reduction focused solutions.

The ideal candidate has solid experience creating 3D models and engineering drawings for water projects, strong knowledge of relevant ISO and BIM standards, and proficiency in Navisworks and Recap. A relevant diploma or degree is preferred, along with understanding of mechanical and civil disciplines. A proactive attitude toward learning, safety compliance, and contributing to a positive team environment is essential.
- Skilled in Revit and Plant 3D for water infrastructure modelling.
- Experience with Navisworks and Recap for model coordination.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 19650, PAS 1192 and BIM protocols.
- Ability to read and produce detailed engineering specifications and drawings.
- Diploma, degree or equivalent in a related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of mechanical and civil engineering principles (preferred).
- Proactive learner eager to adopt emerging technologies.
- Strong commitment to safety and CDM regulations.
