The position supports project teams by applying a wide range of developing professional skills. It involves basic design and technical tasks that require standard techniques and knowledge, performed under general supervision. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and willing to contribute creatively to the team.
Key responsibilities include revising drawings, presentations and renderings under the lead designer's direction, and assisting with the preparation of interior plan sets, fixture plans, elevations, and details. The role also requires organizing files and materials, developing furniture and interior fitting packages, conducting site surveys, and developing interior concepts aligned with client vision and architectural intent. Additional duties involve research, vendor coordination, interdisciplinary communication, reviewing RFIs and submittals during construction administration, and actively participating in product presentations and team meetings.
Qualifications include an accredited degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, typically with 0‑3 years of experience and progress toward NCIDQ certification; sustainable design accreditation is preferred. Candidates must have basic experience with Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and graphic software such as Bluebeam, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in visualization, AI design tools, and virtual reality platforms. Strong communication, problem‑solving, teamwork, multitasking, and deadline‑management abilities are essential, and travel may be required.
