Responsible for conducting onboarding, training, and mentoring of new and existing employees
Key role in the development of standards and protocols for core virtual construction (VC)workflows
Helps drive identifying, adopting, and implementing PCL integrated technologies and PCL custom-developed tools
Tracks billings and recovers department time associated with district project work and pursuits
Assists districts in developing and implementing efficiencies on PCL projects by leveraging current and R&D construction technology
Manage relationships with technology vendors
Assists in developing and executing strategic planning for the Integrated Construction Technology (ICT) department
Participate in technology-related communications and collaborate with the Marketing and Communications departments to create technology-related stories and communications
Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for all PCL Integrated Construction Technology (ICT) members within PCL
Gathers lessons learned and best practices from districts and utilizes these to help improve PCL processes across the company
Actively engages in industry groups as a PCL representative to stay current with technology and industry practices
Foster relationships with district leadership and personnel to support their strategy and technology implementation needs and efforts

Experience using VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) tools and equipment
Ability to travel internationally to all districts – United States, Canada, and Australia
8+ years of construction-related industry experience including 5+ years of virtual design and construction-related experience (supervisory role experience preferred)
Bachelor's degree or a 2-year certificate in a buildings industry-related discipline (e.g. architecture, engineering, civil, construction)
Advanced understanding of VC modeling software and equipment
Proficiency in other software tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Power BI and Bluebeam Revu
Experience with project pursuit tools – e.g. Twinmotion, 3DS Max, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe products, etc.
May have direct and indirect reports (if applicable), which may include a combination of ICT managers, specialists, coordinators, and students or interns
Knowledge and experience with 4D scheduling tools – e.g. Synchro and cmBuilder
Knowledge and experience in reality capture technologies - laser scanning and post-processing – Leica and Trimble products, drones, ground capture software and equipment – i.e. 360 cameras
Knowledge and experience with software for model-based layout, survey and layout software and equipment
Proficient use of Autodesk Products – Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Build, Recap, Civil 3D
