Research Manager

The selected individual will be instrumental in building the firm’s analytical and research platform, integrating both economic insights and real estate market intelligence to guide investment thinking. This position will focus on tracking and interpreting broader market dynamics, uncovering trends that influence performance across sectors and geographies. Working closely with the Investment Team, this person will translate research findings into actionable perspectives that support strategy formation, particularly around identifying high-potential markets and property types for value-add and development initiatives. The role centers on understanding the long-term structural forces shaping real estate fundamentals and positioning the firm to capitalize on them.

• Craft high-impact research narratives for investment memoranda and presentations, articulating key findings to internal stakeholders, clients, and investors.
• Create sophisticated financial models and contribute to the underwriting of new acquisitions and development opportunities across targeted markets.
• Coordinate comprehensive due diligence efforts, managing property tours, third-party consultants, and lease-level analysis to ensure data integrity and investment accuracy.
• Drive in-depth market intelligence efforts by interpreting macroeconomic signals, sector shifts, and local fundamentals to shape investment perspectives.
• Lead submarket deep dives, evaluating rent growth patterns, absorption trends, demographic drivers, and transaction metrics such as cap rates and pricing spreads.
• Oversee ongoing asset performance analytics, benchmarking portfolio outcomes against underwriting assumptions and market dynamics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience conducting research and analysis within dynamic commercial real estate investment environments.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication abilities, supported by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and technology platforms to enhance research accuracy and efficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial real estate research or a related analytical capacity.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
