Strategically support a range of projects and initiatives. Your wide-ranging influence will include delivering sustainable homes which are fit for the future, tackling fuel poverty, and educating colleagues so they can best support our customers.
Influence and support decarbonisation initiatives, such as zero carbon and the decarbonisation of new and existing homes.
Implement energy management programmes and strategies to reduce carbon-based energy reliance.
Manage environmental compliance and innovation. You’ll align strategic and operational plans with external initiatives and funding mechanisms, to identify continuous improvement and development opportunities.
Lead the development of approaches to climate change adaptation and environmental sustainability.

A fantastic people manager, skilled in leading, inspiring, and motivating your team.
You’ll hold chartered membership of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental professionals and Assessment (ISEP) or have equivalent experience.
Comfortable interpreting complex data, conducting research, and making sound judgements. You’ll be able to produce clear, well-written reports on environmental and strategic issues.
Great influencing and negotiation skills as you’ll be working with customers, colleagues, boards, and external stakeholders to bring about change and innovation.
In-depth knowledge of strategic environmental leadership, policy development, and environmental management systems.
You’ll have senior leadership experience in an environmental team, as part of a complex organisation.
