- Prepare detailed plans for assigned bridge engineering tasks
- Perform structural design and analysis tasks for projects, including bridge rehabilitation and replacement projects under the oversight of a senior engineer
- Prepare contract documents for bridge design projects, including design calculations, developments of plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates, and submittal of reviews during construction

- Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Code Requirements, familiarity with local market design and detail requirements preferred
- One to four years of experience
- Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan production of bridge projects following Federal, State, and local standards, in particular, FHWA-FL, NPS, CDOT, CCD, and Colorado Springs. Experience in CA, WA, or OR considered a plus
- BS in Civil Engineering required, MS in Civil/Structural Engineering preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in cooperative, team environments
- Familiarity with Structural Engineering and Analysis software
- EIT Certification preferred
