The Role

Overview

Lead and develop security installation department, manage projects and teams.

Tasks

-Participate in the review of project proposals to ensure labor and material accuracy. -Maintain working knowledge of equipment the company is deploying. -Ensure the fiscal efficacy of projects by holding regular billing meetings with the project managers. -Govern and enforce the logging of hours daily so that billable hours are properly captured and processed. -Manage the resources needed by installation teams, including inventory, tools, and vehicles. -Receive project opportunities from the sales team, then triage and evaluate those opportunities and assign them to the appropriate installation teams. -Manage all personnel within the sector.

What You Bring

-Architectural and construction industry methods and practices. -Basic project management principles. -Superior attention to detail and focus on accuracy. -Basic financial understanding, with experience in meeting budgetary commitments. -Basic knowledge of networks, IT infrastructure (servers, workstations, and hardware) and software components (applications and databases). -Familiarity with and interest in the security industry’s evolving trends. -Strong problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making capabilities. -Proficient computer skills in the areas of calendaring and correspondence. -2+ years' experience leading installation and service teams within the electronic security industry. -Broad understanding of Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), CCTV and Intrusion systems. -Physical security terminology and operations. -Excellent written, verbal, listening abilities and interpersonal communication skills. -Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and balancing workloads to meet project deadlines. -Tech savvy and working knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Office, D-Tools, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects and/or HP PPM.
