Lead the wiring team responsible for the last stage of assembly to guarantee efficient and punctual completion of assembly tasks.
50% indirect labor – assigning resource allocations, delegating tasks to team members, reviewing engineering schematics, participating in stand-up and pass-down meetings.
Ensures quality inspections are done for completion of jobs.
Update WIP tracker to manage access to our output requirements.
Attend stand up meetings to communicate team deliverables and maintain targets.
Work with ME teams on ensuring workstations have the sufficient tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S methodology), promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
Working closely with supervisors on production planning to align with targets and goals.
Ensure safety is priority for team members on the production floor. (6 ppl)
Schedule alignment – Plan and prioritize workload in alignment with schedule to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
Partner with supervisor to coordinate holiday planning and overtime for the team.
50% direct labor – assembly of mechanical and electrical components
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Champion and environment of teamwork and focus on achieving results within the team and across peer groups.
Engage and work closely with supervisors on managing workload and personnel allocation to appropriate jobs.
Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Clearing quality issues and working together with QC inspectors to correct any issues preventing jobs going to shipping.
Train and guide team members to deliver to team targets and objectives.
Track and communicate material shortages in a timely manner to ensure minimum impact to production schedule.

Experience with electrical/electronics and/or wiring
Ability to learn and review production data on SAP and transact jobs which are completed within the department.
SAP Experience
Ability to read engineering wiring/mechanical schematics
2+ years professional experience in a manufacturing and 1+ years in people management
Use of MS Office programs including outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint
Forklift certified (or willing to get certification)
Associate’s degree in wiring, electronics, manufacturing or Trade School certification (or equivalent experience)
Effective written/verbal communication.
