Consistently check the quality of materials to ensure that requirements are being met by the supplier. Promote quality objectives among one’s employees by clarifying quality standards and goals.
Understand the metrics necessary for quality and production by collecting and evaluating production data including cycle counts, receiving on-time, transaction accuracy, dock report, inspection report, etc.
