Inspect finished products to ensure compliance, identify items requiring rework, and verify the quality of reworked items
Occasionally required to lift and/or move items weighing between 25 and 45 pounds
Inspect returned products to ensure they meet required specifications before re-acceptance or rejection
May occasionally climb stools or stairs, stoop, crouch, and maintain balance
Inspect incoming materials by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning non-compliant items
Apply shop math to support inspection and troubleshooting activities
Perform functional testing, various inspections, and audits as required
Monitor in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting inspections, and communicating adjustments to the production supervisor
Operate analog, pneumatic, digital control, calibration, and test equipment (Inspector only)
Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve quality-related issues
Support the organization’s quality goals by completing related tasks and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and related documentation
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts to ensure quality standards are met
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing rework and waste, and entering data into the quality database

Presence of non-toxic fumes, chemicals, grease, and oils
