The role involves coordinating on‑site engineering, quality and technical aspects of modular installation and fit‑out. The engineer will oversee surveying, level checks, and quality assurance while ensuring work complies with drawings, specifications and current building regulations. Collaboration with the project team, design, production and site management is essential to keep works on schedule and within budget.
Candidates must have at least three years of post‑qualification experience in the sector or within a project‑based organisation, strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior management. A degree or diploma in engineering is required, together with certifications such as SMSTS/MSIC, First Aid, Lifting Supervisor and Temporary Works Coordinator. Membership or progression towards chartered status with Engineers Ireland or the Institute of Civil Engineers is also desirable.
