Install racks, power cables, fiber patch cords, and follow labelling standards.
Support Field Engineers during installation and deployment of fiber-optic (DWDM/OTN) equipment.
Perform site surveys and document power, space, and fiber conditions.
Maintain tools, test gear, and keep accurate documentation.
Assist with basic fiber testing (OTDR, power meter, light levels).
Follow Method of Procedures (MoPs) and safety guidelines.
Travel to customer sites, data centres, and central offices as required.

Basic knowledge of fiber optics (cleaning, splicing basics, testing tools).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Hands-on experience with OTDR, power meter, VFL, cleaning tools.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred).
Basic understanding of DWDM/OTN or optical networks (preferred).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work in data centers/COs.
1–3 years of experience as a Field Technician or similar telecom role.
Ability to read simple diagrams, rack elevations, and fiber maps.
Strong attention to detail and safety-focused mindset.
