Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid CDL, and have at least two years of underground utility experience, including knowledge of three‑phase underground switching and pothead termination. The role requires the ability to operate a variety of excavation and hand tools, solve on‑site problems, and travel out‑of‑state for emergency storm work. Physical demands include frequent walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and continuous standing.

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- Willing to travel out of state for emergency storm work
- Rare physical tasks: crawling, climbing, climbing stairs, reaching
- Occasional physical tasks: stooping, kneeling, squatting, body twisting, sense of touch, range of motion, climbing ladders, balancing
- Frequent physical tasks: walking, manual dexterity, seeing distant, climbing on/off truck, reading, gripping, lifting 10‑50 lb, carrying, pushing, pulling
- Continuous physical tasks: standing, speaking clearly, sitting, seeing, hearing, depth perception, color vision, lifting up to 10 lb
- Pre‑employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required
