Produce structural calculations for implementation with technical drafting staff during preparation of construction documents as well as construction
Prepare preliminary designs for clients
Manage construction administration tasks such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, and coordination with the construction teams
Review building codes to assure proper implementation in design
Attend client meetings, coordinate with construction project managers, architect, civil, and mechanical engineers
Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and others outside the project team

Knowledge of analysis and design programs such as RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages is preferred
BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or ability to obtain within 12 months, is highly preferred
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
5+ years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally in commercial construction
Proficiency using Revit independently to create construction level structural drawings is preferred
Ability to prepare structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, light gage steel, and understanding of foundation design
