In this role you will work closely with commercial, advanced manufacturing, quality, EHS, security, HR, finance, engineering and supply‑chain functions to enhance customer and employee satisfaction, support new product development, and implement Lean manufacturing, digital factory and continuous‑improvement programs across the plant.
- Lead safety, quality, cost, delivery, inventory, and people (SQCDIP) across the plant.
- Collaborate with commercial, engineering, EHS, HR, finance, supply chain, and other support functions to improve customer and employee satisfaction.
- Support new product development by partnering with product managers to enhance cost, quality, profitability and availability.
- Deploy Lean manufacturing, quality, cost‑reduction, on‑time delivery, safety, digital factory and performance metrics.
- Provide vision, goal setting, performance management, coaching, employee engagement and development.
- Drive root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement for quality, warranty, productivity and operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 9001‑2015, AS9100, IATF and internal policies.
- Manage material requirements, increase inventory turns and lead purchasing & materials team to meet OTIF and WCT‑DSI targets.
- Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, S&OP/IBP demand‑supply planning and headcount efficiency.
- Identify, justify and implement capital investments and plant improvement projects.
- Balance work‑cell loading and optimize material flow.
- Champion DE&I and sustainability initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings at least ten years of progressive manufacturing operations experience, including P&L and multi‑site leadership in a multi‑shift, unionized environment. A bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering or a related field is required, with an MBA and Lean or Six Sigma certification viewed favorably. Knowledge of ISO 9001‑2015, AS9100 and IATF standards, as well as a proven ability to build a safety culture and lead change, are essential.
- Minimum 10 years progressive manufacturing operations experience with P&L responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
- Multi‑site, multi‑shift leadership experience in a unionized environment.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001‑2015, AS9100 and IATF standards.
- Proven ability to build safety culture and lead organizational change.
- Strong financial analysis skills (balance sheets, profit & loss).
- Customer‑focused with short‑ and long‑term planning expertise.
- Excellent project management experience, preferably in high‑volume assembly.
