Maintain quality and compliance of drafts with AASHTO and state/local standards.
Participate in internal peer reviews of structural drawing sets.
Draft structural drawings (bridges, walls, structural members) using CAD/design software.
Support revisions and updates throughout the design process.
Develop preliminary details, materials, and reinforcement layouts.
Prepare submittals and help respond to agency or client review comments.
Assist with structural calculation summaries and support documentation.

Associate’s degree or technical certificate in structural drafting, CADD, or engineering; or equivalent experience.
Exposure to structural engineering or design (through coursework, internships, or work).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to track drawing revisions.
Strong communication skills with openness to feedback.
Basic competence in OpenRoads or Civil 3D, with interest in structural-specific drafting.
Familiarity with structural codes and standards (AASHTO, state DOTs).
