- Plan and organize quality processes such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, incident reports and corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and safe completion of projects in accordance with safety goals, while adhering to contract documents and project budgets.
- Monitors and approves the quality of materials, plans, surveys, fabrication, as-built drawings, and other construction-related work to ensure compliance with specifications, workmanship standards, and contract requirements.
- Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal logs.
- Purpose-Driven Projects: Build structures that truly matter, from critical healthcare facilities to cutting-edge data centers
- The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for developing and implementing the construction sections of the project quality control plan (including the three phases of quality control) in compliance with Federal, DoD, and Navy requirements.
- Responsible for directing and approving the correction of any non-conforming or unsafe construction work performed under the contract.
- Review project plans for quality requirements.
- Maintain relationships with owners, clients, and subcontractors.
- Direct inspections, testing and documentation.

- 10+ years’ experience with a federal general contracting company
- Experience in healthcare projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
- Experience in federal sector projects.
- A thorough understanding of construction materials, means, methods, and building systems.
- CQCM certified and has administered the three phases of quality control on multiple projects.
- Experience in Davis-Bacon Prevailing wage-required projects.
- Ability to write and comprehend RFIs.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test.
- Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Availability to work on any shift—1st, 2nd, or 3rd—as hospital construction occurs at all hours.
- OSHA 30 Certified
- Have working knowledge of owner contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Experience managing projects $20MM+
- Ability to clearly communicate to home office, Owner, and Subcontractors.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
