Analyze and review all evidence related to third-party utility damage for the purpose of determining a liable party.
Build and develop a professional working relationship with the client, their contractors, technicians, management team, and other personnel.
Photograph and document the damaged scene to accurately portray and determine liability.
Take precautions always to utilize safety protocols.
Assist the Claims Recovery team with follow-up actions after damage site reviews.
Conduct interviews at damage sites with contractors, technicians, witnesses, police, homeowners, etc.
Perform on-site assessments of underground and aerial power and gas utility damages.

Ability to drive a personal vehicle to various damage sites, including daytime and nighttime travel.
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience in investigations and/or law enforcement is highly desirable

Ability to walk and work on uneven terrain and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to bend, stoop, or reach as necessary to perform essential job duties.
Must be willing and able to utilize a personal vehicle for work-related travel as required.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and comfortable using public or shared computer systems
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Understand and utilize State Dig Laws and Statutes, excavator requirements, and NESC standards.
Familiarity with the utility or utility locating industry
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Proven ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a dynamic environment
Background in business operations with a strong attention to detail
Must possess a valid and current driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle suitable for representing the company, and auto insurance meeting both federal and state requirements, with minimum auto liability coverage of 100/300/100 for bodily injury and property damage.
