Production Supervisor C shift

Description

• Train production personnel to perform work assignments safely and efficiently.
• Control labor costs while achieving production targets.
• Maintain consistent daily production output and ensure production efficiency.
• Work overtime as needed to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Participate in High Performance Team (HPT) functions to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure the quality and appearance of various products being produced meet company standards.
• Adjust production output to meet demands, maintaining low lead times and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Follow and enforce all established procedures and maintain safety policies.
• Address personnel matters such as conducting performance reviews and handling disciplinary actions (in collaboration with the HR Manager).
• Review employee performance regularly and provide feedback in line with plant goals.
• Actively spend the entire day on the production floor, monitoring hourly production progress and conducting quality checks.
• Coordinate and arrange for proper maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor and control scrap levels to minimize waste.
• Facilitate and support employee team operations to ensure collaboration and teamwork.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Maintain positive employee relations through effective coaching and consistent application of company policies.
• Requisition and allocate personnel to meet production goals and schedules.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills to manage personnel, workflow, and production schedules.
• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience, with a proven track record of supervising production teams and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for maintaining employee relations and facilitating teamwork.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Problem-solving skills to address production challenges and maintain product quality.
• Familiarity with safety policies, cost control measures, and labor management.
• Proficiency in 5S principles and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with the capacity to train and motivate employees.
