- Testing & Commissioning
Conduct hydrostatic and operational tests on the foam dosing pump and entire firefighting system.
Verify foam concentrate suction, mixing ratio accuracy, and discharge performance.
Perform pressure drop analysis to confirm compliance with NFPA and project specifications.
Document test results, corrective actions, and final commissioning sign-off.
- Provide quality control reports highlighting workmanship improvements.
- Address system pressure losses by reviewing hydraulic design, pipe sizing, and pump performance.
- Inspect the pump, pipe connections, valves, and dosing line to identify causes of leakage during commissioning.
- Document test results, corrective actions, and final commissioning sign-off.
- Investigate causes of pressure loss in the new firefighting system during testing and commissioning.
