The position is a full‑time role with the Los Angeles Unified School District, seeking an experienced program management professional to oversee complex capital programs in a public or educational agency setting. The ideal candidate brings expertise in scope development, budgeting, scheduling, funding strategies, and financial closeout while managing multiple projects under a single program. This role requires analytical, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented skills to guide project teams, resolve technical and financial issues, communicate with stakeholders and the community, and ensure compliance with funding, policy, and performance requirements.
Candidates must have at least ten years of paid professional experience in program and project management, including a minimum of four years managing programs within a public or educational agency, and a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred credentials include a California Architectural Registration, Professional Engineer license, Construction Manager (CCM) certification, and LEED Professional Accreditation.
