Tasks

-Administer Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams, ensuring mail flow, protection, and user permissions are configured correctly. -Implement and manage security and compliance solutions within the Microsoft 365 Defender and Purview suites. -Administer and maintain Windows and Linux Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. -Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and administrative tasks across both on-premises and cloud environments. -Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions. -Provide expert-level support and serve as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues related to servers, network, and M365 services. -Serve as the primary administrator for the entire Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. -Manage and monitor virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, XCP-ng). -Configure and manage network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless networks -Oversee storage solutions utilizing iSCSI, NFS, and SMB. -Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), including user and group administration, conditional access policies, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). -Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, switches, and VPNs. -Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues and use related tools. -Create and maintain documentation for systems and common support procedures to empower the help desk team. -Perform routine system health checks, performance monitoring, and patching. -Ensure network security through proper firewall configuration and intrusion detection systems -Participate in IT strategic planning and budgeting -Implement and maintain remote access across multiple offices utilizing IPSEC VPNs, client VPN, ZTNA, and SD-WAN.

What You Bring

-Microsoft 365 Certified certifications are highly preferred. -Strong understanding of M365 security and compliance tools (Microsoft Defender, Purview). -6+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role. -Experience with Linux administration (Redhat or similar) -Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent -Experience in a senior or lead technical role -In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. -Experience with Fortinet products including FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiClient VPN -Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical staff. -Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for both on-premises and Microsoft 365 environments. -Other relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or CompTIA Network+ are a plus. -Knowledge of automation and scripting (PowerShell) -Proven experience with large-scale M365 deployments, migrations, and administration. -Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network administration. -Familiarity with monitoring tools (Checkmk, Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds)
