Visually inspect an electrical installation and identify faults
Test the electrical system using required instruments to verify safety within the system in accordance with I.S. 10101:2024
Implement and manage Lock Out-Tag Out (LOTO) and Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE) on projects where they are the AP (Appointed Person).
Carry out Pre-Test Inspections (walk-down the field installation of each system term to term) on site and compile defect reports on compliance with national electrical regulations.
Complete and maintain accurate inspection and test record sheets
Perform full electrical testing of panels, circuits, fire alarm systems, and live systems in accordance with the technical rules.
Notify Project Manager and Supervisor on the project of any non-conformances or hazards on site.
Ensure works are carried out to a high standard while complying with building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, Health and Safety and environmental standards.

Be familiar with the CRU Criteria Document and understand the roles and responsibilities of a Qualified certifier.
Minimum Level 6 of the QQI Certificate in Electrical Craft Practice or equivalent
Authorised Person (AP) competent and trained (preferable).
2 years’ experience in a similar role.
A high degree of computer literacy
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety best practices.
Have completed the Electrical Verification & Certification course with a Qualified Certifier (QC) number. (can re-train if out of date)
Demonstrable a high level of electrical technical knowledge with practical application in a pharma environment
Proven experience in electrical testing within industrial or large-scale commercial environments.
