The role requires staying current on emerging pest control technologies and environmentally friendly products, while enforcing all labor laws, safety policies, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions. The manager assists with safety investigations and addresses hazards or incidents as needed, and supports the Branch Manager with budgeting, cost analysis, product selection, and overall financial success of the branch.
Qualifications include a preferred bachelor’s degree in landscape management, horticulture, or a related field, along with five years of agronomy or sports turf experience and at least two years of leadership experience. Required certifications are Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) and Certified Pest Control Operator (CPCO). Candidates must possess strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and mobile devices, and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license meeting MVR verification standards.
