Residential Drain Technician

Description

The technician will handle residential drain cleaning, sewer diagnostics, and preventative maintenance, while communicating findings and recommendations to homeowners. Accurate documentation in Service Titan and adherence to safety and code standards are also required.

• Perform residential drain cleaning using cable machines, high‑pressure jetting, and related tools.
• Conduct sewer camera inspections to diagnose blockages, root intrusion, and pipe damage.
• Troubleshoot and recommend effective solutions for drain and sewer issues.
• Provide preventative maintenance services such as descaling, root treatment, and system flushing.
• Communicate findings, service options, and repair recommendations clearly to homeowners.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and educate customers on long‑term solutions.
• Document work, job notes, and service history in Service Titan.
• Maintain equipment, follow safety protocols, and ensure compliance with codes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve concerns promptly.

Requirements

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of experience in drain or sewer services, a valid Connecticut J license, and proficiency with cable machines, jetters, and cameras. Strong communication, attention to detail, a customer‑focused mindset, and a clean driver’s license are essential.

• Experience with Service Titan or similar field‑service software (preferred).
