The incumbent will install or upgrade sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings, test and repair existing sprinkler and alarm systems, and perform inspections to ensure code compliance. Detailed inspection reports documenting any issues will be completed and submitted promptly. The position also involves responding to emergency service calls, protecting company equipment, and interacting with customers in a professional manner.
No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and have reliable transportation to job sites. Flexibility is essential, as schedules may include evenings, weekends, and out-of-town assignments, and employees must be able to interpret and apply relevant laws, codes, and regulations while maintaining accurate records.
The role demands regular standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and the use of hands for tasks such as handling tools, ladders, and medium-size equipment. Employees must adhere to company safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe driving practices.
