The Technical Lead for the PE board will coach and develop the technical staff, make informed process decisions, and ensure adherence to established protocols. This role balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale while driving continuous improvement projects and maintaining up‑to‑date standard operating procedures. The incumbent will also support production targets, safety systems, and act as a liaison with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues.

- Aid production manager in improving production control, SOPs, safety, quality, and performance management.
- Liaise with maintenance and engineering to address equipment issues.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate’s degree preferred, and bring 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, including 1–2 years in plastics extrusion. Demonstrated leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills are essential to manage priorities, improve processes, and coach employees. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and root‑cause analysis tools is also required.

- Proficiency in measuring performance against KPIs and departmental metrics.

- Continuous improvement mindset and systems orientation.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis (RCA) tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and extrusion/downstream production knowledge.
- Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work 12‑hour shifts.
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
