Maintain records of estimates and revisions for audit and reference purposes
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability
Develop and maintain cost databases and estimation tools
Prepare high-level project / opportunity budgeting where required
Attend tender, EOI and BAFO briefings
Ensure cost estimates comply with client requirements and company policies and procedures
Track submission dates and undertake submissions
Interpret technical drawings, analyse plans, specifications, drawings and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates covering all aspects of a proposal / project, factoring in HSE and compliance requirements, risk contingencies and all other relevant aspects
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving future estimates
Identify labour, material, and time requirements for projects
