Supports Landis+Gyr’s quality processes with particular attention to Measurement Canada (MC) standards and regulatory compliance.
Contributes to Landis+Gyr’s New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
Lead the complete product lifecycle of the assigned products within the Canadian portfolio.
Work alongside cross functional teams to develop and execute the overall strategy for assigned products.
Works in partnership with Project Management Organization (PMO) to manage cost and timeline expectations.
Ensures all parts of the organization are properly educated on product features/functionality.
Interprets customer requirements and translates to clear product requirements and use cases in PRDs, with specific focus on Canadian market needs and regulatory standards.
Serve as regulatory liaison between Customer Delivery and Product Management organizations.
Contributes to business reviews and planning sessions with focus on Canadian market opportunities and regulatory changes.
Facilitates defining 1132 programs optimized for Canadian needs
Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.
Works on complex business cases incorporating Canadian regulatory, policy, and governance considerations.
Works with Technical Training to develop Product Documentation and Training aligned with Canadian regulatory requirements.
May present at industry events, internal sales meetings, Landis+Gyr’s Exchange, and customer specific meetings, representing Canadian regulatory expertise.
Close working collaboration with Product Portfolio, engineering, deployment, Sales and Marketing, and Global teams.
Works on assigned product dependencies and interrelationships to deliver complete customer solutions (hardware/software) rather than just a “Product.”
Supports Customer Delivery operational needs as required, leveraging regulatory and policy expertise.
Supports R&D feasibility/traceability reviews with emphasis on Measurement Canada (MC) compliance and Canadian regulatory standards.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for assigned products within the Canadian regulatory landscape.
Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
Presents to Executive Project Governance Boards for stage gate reviews and Change Controls with Canadian regulatory impact assessments.
Serves as primary liaison for Measurement Canada (MC) regulatory matters and Canadian governance initiatives.
Independently manage strategic partnerships where appropriate, particularly those relevant to the Canadian market..
Assists with the management of sustainment of existing product offerings within the Canadian portfolio.

Utility experience required

Ability to influence individuals and organizations not under a direct reporting relationship.
Formal Product Management training, such as Pragmatic Marketing, and/or New Product Introduction (NPI) process desired
Strong knowledge of Measurement Canada (MC) regulations, Canadian regulatory frameworks, and policy development processes.
Proven leadership skills in mentoring and developing others.
Technical role experience related to the Product Segment being led
Thorough understanding of business fundamentals – roles of various departments in the organization: marketing, sales, economics, manufacturing, business management, engineering.
Deep understanding of marketing concepts/market research with specific knowledge of Canadian market dynamics.
Organizational skills including prioritization, project management, and resource deployment.
