Able to demonstrate a commitment to continued education and improvement through participating in our approved training schemes.
Able to meet the requirements for Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and an appropriate level of security clearance in the UK.
Ability to undertake research and apply findings to real-world situations in support of winning work and delivery.
Ability to communicate effectively to internal and external clients, both verbally & in writing with the confidence to engage with a variety of people (clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub-contractors alike) and the aptitude to rationally explain, explore and discuss technical issues and capture feedback.
Honours (2:1 or above) or Masters degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (or an equivalent mixture of qualifications and experiences from the UK nuclear industry).
Competent user of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
Willing and able to work towards chartership with a professional body such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Nuclear Institute (NI), etc.
Ability to structure & prioritise work effectively through close cooperation with the team as a whole and independently without losing initiative and focus.
Able to able to demonstrate the legal right to work in the UK.
