  • Drive textile R&D initiatives to support innovation, enhance product performance, and expand our fabric portfolio
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and operations teams to support both new product introductions and existing product improvements
  • Champion safety and compliance, ensuring all activities adhere to internal standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead fabric development projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
  • Continuously improve processes for greater efficiency, reliability, and scalability across textile development workflows
  • Apply statistical analysis to diagnose and resolve fabric-related technical issues, identify root causes, and propose actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with textile vendors to understand and improve their processes as well as develop fabrics that meet Lutron’s world class performance standards
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including textile specifications, test methods, and process standards
