Principal Model-Based Systems Engineer
Rondo Energy
Converts renewable power into continuous high‑temperature industrial heat via thermal brick batteries.
Lead MBSE strategy, processes, and models to transform engineering for decarbonization.
Lead and own the development of structural, behavioral, parameter, etc. models to form the authoritative source of truth for the system, with traceability through a digital thread to requirements, coverage and change impact analysis, verification and validation.
Integrate risk & safety analysis in the model. Model hazards, FMEA, controls, and mitigations. Link risks to requirements, functions, interfaces, and verification, drive model-based safety assurance.
Ensure product development adheres to agile MBSE processes, methods, and best practices.
Create MBSE roadmap and plan to achieve short- and long-term strategic objectives.
Establish interface management within the model. Generate and control Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Automate interface checks where practical. Run interface audits ahead of reviews.
Perform requirements elicitation, analysis, and verification and validation, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet requirements, using model-based tools to guide effective design reviews.
Capture concept of operations, mode/state behavior, and ensure they trace to requirements, models and verification methods.
Foster an MBSE culture and mindset across all engineering disciplines.
Drive end-to-end traceability and impact analysis from stakeholder needs, lessons learned, ConOps and Modes of Operations to system, subsystem, and component requirements.
Lead and own the definition, development, and implementation of MBSE strategy, process, and methodology.
