- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical systems and components
- Engage in "On Call" activities when scheduled on-site, ensuring a prompt response to any issues that arise after hours.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults and implement corrective actions
- Operate and monitor power generation equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the wider operations team to continuously improve efficiency and reliability
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of equipment performance and maintenance activities
- Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations

- Substantial experience as a power station operator or maintainer
- Proficient in fault-finding, maintenance planning, and the execution of preventative and corrective maintenance
- Commitment to workplace health and safety and a demonstrated track record of safe work practices
- Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical discipline
- Strong working knowledge of power generation equipment, including turbines, generators, and ancillary systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently
