The Project Executive position performs more of a construction manager function, supervising projects and leading teams that are working directly at a project site. The PX job entails communicating with clients and vendors on a regular basis to ensure all aspects of a project meet the expectations of the client, which is necessary in fulfilling the contract.

Collaborate with multiple ranks across the construction function to assure that strategies are implemented well.
Assist in all levels of the project, including project execution, project planning, project financials, preconstruction, and health and safety planning.
Develop strategies that support the company’s growth to acquire new clients.
Ensure timely delivery of all projects, within the agreed budget, and following the pre-established specifications.
Plan and oversee all aspects of the construction function.

GMA Construction Group is seeking an seasoned Project Executive who is responsible for the overall construction function of a company. The PX’s jobs include supervising project teams, managing budgets and adhering to deadlines, communicating with clients and stakeholders, as well as developing relationships with vendors and business partners.

Complete understanding of the construction process, including cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, and engineering is required.
Ability to read and understand construction documents such as blueprints, scopes of work, schedules, specifications, safety manuals etc.
Fundamental knowledge of labor laws and regulatory compliance.
Degree in Construction Management or equivalent is preferred.
Experience with MS Office Suite and proficiency in using scheduling and project management software.
Familiarity with change orders, purchase orders, variance purchase orders.
Experience working with local municipalities, inspectors, utility providers and officials.
Knowledge of contract risk management, as well as client-contract requirements and sub-contractor requirements.
