Description

• Coordinate equipment and crews from start to finish, ensuring resources and safety.
• Coach crew on proper use and processes to maintain safety and quality.
• Oversee Dig Safe marking and address utility issues.
• Operate equipment, perform pipefitting, and assist with labor as needed.
• Complete paperwork, reports, and status updates.
• Resolve work problems.
• Maintain required operator qualifications.
• Work performed in the “red zone” of heavy equipment.
• Provide valid US work‑authorization for E‑Verify.
• Maintain union membership.

Requirements

The Gas Utility Foreman role is hands‑on and requires at least two years of gas utility experience. The foreman manages the job site, plans and executes tasks safely and efficiently, and ensures projects finish on time. In this leadership position the foreman coaches and trains crew members to develop their skills for long‑term success.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years gas utility experience.
• Safety instructions provided in English; fluency required.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lb, standing, climbing, kneeling, etc.
• Requires quick hand‑eye coordination and constant alertness.
• Pass pre‑employment, random, post‑accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
• Satisfactory pre‑employment background check.
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license.
• Pass fit‑for‑duty medical test and hold/obtain DOT medical card.
