In this high-impact role, you’ll be the face of TYLin’s aviation practice across the West. You'll collaborate with industry leaders across the country, help shape the future of airports and aviation infrastructure, and be a key part of a team that values innovation, sustainability, and partnership.

  • Represent TYLin at industry events and forums, building visibility and forging strong client connections
  • Coach and mentor project managers, technical leads, and business developers
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and staff engagement
  • Oversee major aviation projects from concept through completion
  • Build and empower high-performing teams; attract and retain top aviation talent
  • Lead teams in project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling
  • Ensure exceptional client experience and project outcomes that meet high-quality, safety, and performance standards
  • Guide project teams on contracts, execution, and performance best practices
  • Manage sector performance, including financials, risk, and compliance
  • Drive growth and performance of the aviation sector in the West—owning strategy, revenue, and client relationships
  • Partner across sectors to expand opportunities, win high-profile pursuits, and deliver integrated solutions
  • Work closely with the national Aviation Sector Lead to bring strategic plans to life and fuel market growth

  • Experienced in leading teams and growing practices in the AEC industry
  • A relationship-builder with a successful track record of winning and delivering complex aviation projects
  • A senior leader with 20+ years of experience in aviation design, engineering, and project delivery
  • A strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a multidisciplinary, matrixed environment
  • PE license preferred; Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering or related field
  • Strategic and forward-thinking, with a deep understanding of aviation markets and trends
