  • Support the implementation of and ensure compliance with the CWA Safety Management System (SMS) through engagement, training and assurance.
  • Supports the implementation of the Nuclear Safety message during engagements with the whole CWA team.
  • Liaise with the Integrated Management System (IMS) development team in the lead up to the launch of the Civil Works Alliance IMS.
  • Supports the HSW SMS Systems Lead and wider functional team in the development of a suitable and sufficient Safety Management System (SMS) for the Civil Works Alliance.

  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Competent in using data and information for the preparation of HSW SMS reports.
  • Experience of using and developing health and safety management systems.
  • Capable of planning and managing your workload.
  • Experienced in engaging with all levels within the CWA operational team structure.
  • Skilled in influencing and promoting a positive HSW culture by providing constructive feedback on performance, strengths, and development needs.
  • Able to build relationships with the CWA project teams and wider interested stakeholders.
  • Proficient in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Managers and Professionals competence.
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate.
