- Assist Project Engineers to make inspections and/or tests of work being performed, and materials used on construction projects, maintaining project diaries and reports
- Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D including grading plans, plan and profiles, construction details, storm sewer, water and sewer facilities, pavement marking plans, cross sections
- Preparation of project specifications, cost estimates, and construction plans
- Coordination with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis, and issues
- Calculation of quantities using Microsoft Excel and bid documents using Microsoft Word
- Prepare various exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D

- An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology is preferred but not required
- A supportive team member with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills with team members and clients, demonstrates active listening techniques
- Able to follow general directions and guidelines for the firm’s policies, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, AutoCAD Civil3D, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented but also flexible enough to be big picture/conceptual
- Must have a valid driver’s license. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel
