Ensure that “as-built” drawings are prepared on an ongoing basis during the construction project.
Manage any changes in project scope and ensure all changes are tracked and communicated effectively and efficiently.
Prepare project documentation for labour management, materials, equipment costs, expense submittals, field reports, safety meeting minutes, and change order requests.
Maintain daily time tickets, safety reports, etc.
Monitor the overall procurement of the project by administering contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other agreements to ensure the projects scope, terms, and conditions are consistently and proactively being achieved.
Manage day-to-day activities on site and ensure that the project runs smoothly from beginning to end.
Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with consultants and clients.
Coordinate and direct quality control inspections as required.
Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis.
Assist the project manager in the preparation of the project schedule.
Liaise with client on a regular basis to discuss the projects status, to proactively identify and resolve problems.
Highlight and discuss important concerns during on-site meetings.
Control and monitor labour, material and equipment expenses.
Maintain a safe job site and ensure that the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced.
Assist in the creation of the monthly cost forecasting summaries.

Leadership for Safety Excellence certificate.
A valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
3-5 years’ experience in project site supervision is an asset.
Valid H2S, First Aid Level C CPR & AED, CSTS, CSO, TDG & WHMIS safety tickets.
Knowledgeable with MS Office, particularly with Word, Outlook and Excel.
Construction knowledge and overall understanding of construction process and sequence.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Communicate effectively with employees and clients.
Ability to work various shifts including 5/2 schedule depending on project requirements.
