Conduct and review traffic operations analysis reports
Prepare technical reports, design documentation and engineering calculations in accordance with state and local standards.
Collaborate with other AKS disciplines to ensure we're providing a holistic solutions for our clients
Lead and oversee the design of traffic engineering projects including signals and lighting, and possibly signing/striping plans and temporary traffic control plans.
Support proposal development, scope preparation, and project budgeting
Takes ownership of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Manage multiple projects and coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards including but not limited to MUTCD

Ability to juggle multiple deadlines, stay organized, and keep projects moving efficiently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
At least 10 years of traffic design experience, ideally with growing project management responsibilities.
PE license or ability to obtain your PE within six months.
Proficient in utilizing AutoCAD and AGI
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
