Support Maple Reinders Enterprise Systems and Project Management teams in development of systems, processes and procedures.
Relationships - Building trust with clients & partners.
Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks in project opportunities.
Assist Maple Reinders Project Managers in development of risk registers, and risk and contingency allowances.
Provide commercial input and risk assessment in bid and proposal development, working closely with estimating, legal, design, and operations teams.
Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all contractual correspondence and commercial deliverables.
Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness. Provide commercial and business development support/advice to other areas of the business within the group according to the need.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, consultants, and subcontractors to support successful negotiations and project awards.
Review, draft, and negotiate design services agreements, subcontracts, and other commercial documentation in conjunction with the legal department.
Lead and coordinate contract review processes during project pursuits, ensuring compliance with company policies and alignment with business objectives.
Support bid teams in pricing strategies, contract terms, and conditions to achieve commercially sound proposals.
Advise leadership on contractual obligations, liabilities, and commercial impacts.
Support the progression of pre-construction activities.

Proven track record in contract negotiation, risk management, and bid/proposal support.
Valid driver's license.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, law, business, or a related field
High level of attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience in commercial management within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, design services agreements, and procurement practices.
