CHA Consulting, Inc. is looking for a Field Crew Assistant II to join its Water Team in Charlotte, NC, where you will support engineers and technical staff in evaluating sanitary sewer systems, performing inspections, and gathering data to keep critical infrastructure functioning safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands‑on field work, solving infrastructure challenges, and contributing to community health and reliability.
- Perform sanitary sewer inspections, including flow monitoring, smoke testing, and manhole checks.
- Gather, organize, and verify field data for accurate reporting.
- Assist engineering staff on sewer assessment and rehabilitation tasks.
- Document inspection results following technical standards and client protocols.
- Operate computer programs used in sewer studies and Microsoft Office.
- Apply basic math, safety rules, and regulations on site.
- Collaborate with experienced field and engineering professionals.
