In this role you will keep automation projects moving by partnering with system integrators and manufacturers, supporting data‑center startups, and leading startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems. You’ll work closely with automation and controls engineers, provide clear communication to customers and project teams, and follow rotating travel schedules that place you in new locations and challenges regularly.
- Support data‑center startups with on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
- Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
- Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on‑site.
- Communicate progress and updates clearly to customers and project teams.
- Travel on rotating schedules (e.g., 5‑on/2‑off, 10‑on/4‑off, 14‑on/7‑off) to diverse project sites.
- Walk long distances across large facilities; climb ladders or work at heights.

Starting salaries range from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, and you’ll receive per‑diem, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses, plus continuous growth through merit raises and a 5 % salary increase after six months.
