The manager leads the execution of energy projects, ensuring that all activities adhere to company policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. The role also supports continuous process improvement to increase project execution effectiveness.
Key duties include establishing the project execution approach, overseeing hand‑over, planning, monitoring and control for internal and external resources, and managing resource utilization. The manager monitors project financials, invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow, while identifying, qualifying, quantifying and managing risks and opportunities.
The role involves procuring services, materials and equipment, supporting negotiations and handling claims or project changes, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Acting as the primary customer contact and escalation point, the manager prepares master document lists, ensures SAP and ISO documentation compliance, and coordinates engineering approvals, FAT, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning, and payment collection.
Compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines is mandatory, and the manager is expected to embody Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for personal actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
