The Line Operator role is located at our Extrusion plant in Kingman, AZ, reporting to the Shift Supervisor. The successful candidate will operate extrusion machines and related equipment to produce fittings while ensuring safety, product quality, output, housekeeping and cost control to meet plant goals.
Key duties include maintaining a safe work environment through training, policy adherence and housekeeping, performing inspections with PI tables, micrometers and ovality gauges, and conducting skin and impact testing. The operator will adjust extrusion parameters such as wall thickness, barrel and die temperatures, and diameter, and handle line maintenance including vent cleaning. Collaboration on material trials, monitoring output to standards, and completing accurate documentation are also required. Additional tasks are assigned as needed.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must be capable of using basic hand tools and operating a forklift, and must pass a background check and drug screening.
The position demands high mobility with frequent walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing and lifting up to 50‑75 lb. It is a fast‑paced environment requiring sustained sensory attention, and exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise and sharp objects.
