Working knowledge of AASHTO, Roadside Design Guide, 4th Edition,

Familiarity with Caltrans and Greenbook Standard Plans and Standard Specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs

Experience and ability to prepare roadway/transportation design documents and specifications is required
ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D and other engineering design software proficiency is required.

Working knowledge of AASHTO, A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets, 7th Edition,
Minimum of 8 years of civil design experience with a PE in the State of California or ability to get reciprocity.
Working knowledge of USDOT/FHWA, MUTCD for Streets and Highways, 2009 Edition,
MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads design experience is not required but desired.
