Description

Commercial Kitchen Equipment Technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial food‑service equipment. Technicians work independently while coordinating schedules with dispatch, documenting work on company iPads, and delivering exceptional customer service, including answering questions and identifying additional service needs.

• Perform service, repair, installation, and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electronic, and electrical issues and repair to manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate daily schedules with dispatch and communicate delays or changes professionally.
• Manage accurate electronic work orders and documentation using a company‑issued iPad.
• Answer customer questions, identify additional service needs, and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Participate in rotating on‑call shifts for emergency service needs.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory to the highest standards.
• Attend ongoing technical training to stay current with industry advancements.
• Report safety concerns and identify potential new business opportunities.
• Safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods.
• Climb ladders and access rooftops routinely.
• Use hand tools and electronic devices regularly.
• Handle exposure to weather, electrical equipment, and commercial machinery.
• Wear protective equipment such as helmet, goggles, and boots.
• Perform regular bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrates strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. They must be able to work independently, handle overtime and on‑call rotations, communicate effectively, and maintain a positive, high‑energy attitude toward craftsmanship.

The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to operate a vehicle for extended periods, lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, work in tight or elevated spaces, and use hand tools and electronic devices while wearing appropriate protective equipment.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
