Supervise maintenance crew, manage machine upkeep, safety, budgets in manufacturing.

Tasks

-Maintain vendor relationships and order new materials as needed -Ensure all machinery is up to working standards -Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing quality checks of all machinery, tools, equipment etc) -Oversee, manage, and direct all maintenance procedures and operations -Oversee repairs -Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems -Manage proactively -Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency -Train new employees in maintenance work processes and procedures -Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol -Create and adhere to maintenance budgets -Record and track daily progress/error reports -Perform evaluations of employees to ensure quality of work -Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary parts -Create a work environment with safety as a high priority

What You Bring

-Previous supervisor experience preferred -Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. -Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required to be worn daily. -Can effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities -High school diploma or GED required -Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field preferred -8+ years relevant experience in maintenance -Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems -Ability to consistently maintain positive client relationships -Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). -Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite) and a solid understanding of data analysis software
