What You Bring

-Knowledge of Best Management Practices -Must be able to operate small equipment (weed whacker, chainsaw, backpack sprayer, hedger, pole saw, etc.) -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time -Previous experience in a crew lead position -Plan reading and takeoff experience -Planting experience -Must have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record over the last three years -Mechanical skills -Grading experience -Must be physically able and willing to work in varying terrain (including uneven surfaces and steep slopes) and weather conditions -Irrigation systems experience – installation, layout, valves, controllers, troubleshooting/repairs, etc. -Minor electrical experience -Ability to operate a smart phone and electronic devices such as a tablet, iPad, etc. for reporting purposes -Willingness to travel out of town occasionally (will include overnight stays) -Knowledge of native plants and weed species -3+ years of landscape and/or habitat restoration experience -Fence installation experience
